The Stockholm City Archives has initiated the second phase of the Smart and Connected Archives project together with Founding Partner RISE.
The project owner, Stockholm City Archives is part of the Founding Partner Stockholm City. Stockholm’s city archive has the ambition to be Sweden’s leading archive by being most keen and relevant, as well as modernest, most accessible, outgoing and user-oriented. During 2017-2018, a new public archive and arena for conversations focusing on Stockholm’s historical and future urban development will be built at Liljeholmskajen.
The 16th of May there is RISE Innovation Day in Gothenburg! I am fortunate enough to have gotten a slot and present Urban ICT Arena there. My main message in this context is that digitalization is 15 % about tech and 85 % about organization and mindset.
Around 30 people, from industry, academia and the public sector, met up in the NOD Building in Kista Science City on 28th March. The purpose was to jointly create an embryo of a Digital Strategy for Smart and Connected Archives in one day. The workshop was led by me, Petra Dalunde, COO of Urban ICT Arena.
