Smart and Connected Archives – phase two

In collaboration with the Swedish National Archives, the Stockholm City Archives initiated the second phase of the Smart and Connected Archives project last week! The Stockholm City Archives has a goal of becoming the smartest, most user-oriented and easily accessible archives in Sweden and this project is a huge step in the right direction.

This phase is made up of two related but separate parts, a part for digital ordering (an application that must fit into an already existing framework) and a part for digital labeling, which will need to consider not only GDPR but also longevity and processing.

Last week we had a small workshop with the Stockholm City Archives where we successfully identified the needs and expectations for the first part of the project. Now RISE has risen to the challenge and will create a Not Boring digital ordering application – but who will create the best digital labeling for sensitive documents?
Stay tuned!
