In December, Sara Nozkova joined us in the role of project coordinator where she will mainly be responsible for project plans, contracts and evaluations of finished projects during Emma Karlsson’s maternity leave.
About me:
I recently obtained my master’s degree in political science from Stockholm University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in European Studies from Masaryk University in Czechia, and I have also studied international relations at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. During my studies, my focus was mainly on the area of European governance and sustainable development. However, I have also learned a great deal about international organizations, human rights and gender equality along the way.
I have previously worked in both the private and public sector. For instance, since moving to Stockholm, I have worked at KTH Royal institute of Technology, Google and the Czech Embassy in Stockholm. In Czechia, I was an intern at both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance in Prague. Moreover, I worked as consultant at the Access EU! – EEIG in Brussels, focusing on developing smart and sustainable cities.
I am keen on learning languages. I am fluent in Swedish, English, Spanish, Czech and I speak French, German and Polish as well.
I am very excited to have become a part of the Urban ICT Arena team and I look forward to working towards developing sustainable cities, boosting innovation and securing the jobs of tomorrow together with my colleagues, our partners, project owners and the citizens.
