Urban ICT Arena has been awarded funding for a preliminary study from Viable Cities, a research and innovation program that will help to transition to climate and resource-efficient cities.
The project and the preliminary study, called Kraftsamarbete, will examine how digitalization and citizenship can be used to create a quadruple helix environment for sustainable energy conversion
The preliminary study will examine the conditions for the implementation of a quadruple helix environment within Urban ICT Arena that can create a good balance between academia, industry, the public sector and civil society.
The aim of the project is to come up with a model that works and provides increased knowledge and understanding of collaboration within a quadruple helix enviroment to enable sustainable energy conversion for all, with digitalization as the catalyst.
“Kista Träff is extremely pleased to be participating in the preliminary study. To create the smart and connected city, it is important that a variety of perspectives be considered in development. We hope this will build bridges between the residential area and the ICT cluster,” says Mustafa Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer at Kista Träff.
