Invitation: Startup tour to Tokyo 23–25 April 2018


Learn more about the exciting Japanese startup scene, get connected and discover business opportunities in the world’s largest metropolis and beyond! This invitation is extended to Swedish entrepreneurs, startups, ecosystem builders and supporters who want to learn from, and connect with counterparts in Japan.

In 2018, Japan and Sweden celebrate 150 years of diplomatic relations. This will be highlighted through a number of business-related activities aimed at strengthening the ties between Japan and Sweden. As the top event celebrating this important anniversary, Team Sweden is proud to announce a high-level official visit, accompanying business delegation and this Startup Tour to Tokyo.

The Startup Tour will be a unique opportunity for leading startups to meet with executives from the Japanese business community and startup ecosystem, as well as a chance to get a deeper understanding of the dynamics shaping the market in Japan. In addition, the program consists of company visits, seminars and events tailor-made for attending startups and for connecting with Japanese counterparts and stakeholders.

The Startup Tour is organized by Team Sweden, represented by Business Sweden and the Embassy of Sweden. Team Sweden stands ready to assist Swedish companies in identifying and acting on business opportunities in Japan and beyond.
