Hiveonline, which is one of the startups in Urban ICT Arena, has received more than SEK 8 million in venture capital from entrepreneur and blockchain enthusiast Torbjörn Nilsson.
Hiveonline currently has four employees and another ten people engaged on a consultancy basis. The plan is for the company’s mobile fintech app to be launched sometime during the second or third quarter of 2018. In order to succeed, Hiveonline has received more than SEK 8 million SEK in venture capital.
CEO and founder Sofie Blakstad, former adviser to Nordea, had the following to say:
“We will develop the product and recruit staff from the bank community in Stockholm and Copenhagen. We see great opportunities to support big banks and small businesses using blockchain and other new technologies.”
Simply put, Hiveonline can be described as an app that helps small businesses manage their transactions and agreements with the support of blockchain.
